Bramley Buffaloes ‘A’ Team travelled the short distance to face Guiseley Rangers, repaying the favour of a few weeks previous.
For the second day of July, the weather was miserable, rainy, windy and overcast.

In the 12th Minute, Billy Butterworth crashed over the try line for an unconverted try, extending the lead to 0-10.
On 23 minutes, Guiseley hit back after some poor defending saw one of their props cross the line for an unconverted try, reducing the Buffaloes’ lead to 4-10.
Four minutes later, Bailey Harman broke through the defensive line and crossed for a try, with Mroz added the extras, extending the lead to 4-16.
Three minutes before the break, Keiran McFarlane crossed for the Buffaloes’ fourth try of the afternoon, with Mroz again successful with the conversion, taking the lead to 4-22.
On the stroke of half-time, Kieran crossed for his second try of the game, with Mroz again on target with the conversion, making the half-time score 4-28.
In the 50th Minute, both Cameron McLachlan and Ben Wilkinson were sent to the sin bin for questioning the referee.
On 56 Minutes, Guiseley made the extra men count when they utilised the extra space and crossed for a converted try, taking the score to 10-28.
On the hour, Perrott crossed for his second try of the game; this time, the conversion was unsuccessful, taking the Buffaloes’ lead to 10-32.
Four minutes later, Charlie McMurray powered his way over the line for the game’s last try, with Mroz on target again with the conversion—making the final score 10-38.
This was a useful hit out for the squad with the shield final approaching, and the coaching team could see some of the squad players in action.
