The game started badly for the Buffaloes when in the second minute Saints player coach, Shane Rampling nipped over for the opening points of the afternoon, converted by the reliable Gareth Waters.

Five minutes later, Bramley Coach, Craig Lingard, making his debut for the club waltzed through several defenders and scored the first of his three tries.  In the 19th Minute Lingard was over again, this time converted by Simon Lindsay.

With a minute to go in the first half a neat break by Man of the Match, Anthony Lindsey, lead to Lingard scoring his third try of the afternoon.

Just before the break Damien Thomas scored a try following a break and slip pass from substitute Steven Gill.  Giving a half time score of 20-6.

Straight after the break, the buffaloes were in again with James Woods bursting through the line, converted by Lindsay.

In the 50th minute the St. Albans revival commenced with a try by Substitute, Sam Norris.  Seven Minutes later Saints were in again with a try from Winger Nick Wooley, converted by Waters.

In the 61st Minute following a Bramley mistake, Rudie Van Der Merwe had a simple run in for a Try, converted from the Touchline by Waters. Leaving the game poised 26-22.

Both team had opportunities to wrap the final quarter of the game, but neither side could finish the game off on a high.  In the final minute St. Albans gathered in a loose pass and the winger, Russell Kelloway was sprinting away with the line open when Bramley coach, Lingard, who came from the opposite side of the field to tackle the winger into touch short of the line.  Giving the buffaloes their first win of the season.
