It is with sadness that we have to announce that we have had to withdraw from the Yorkshire Men’s League Premier Divison for the remainder of the 2019 Competition.
We have been struggling to raise a team for a few weeks, and the commitment has wained.
The Committee would like to place on record our thanks, to Steve, and Brad, for working their damnedest to keep things going and to Simon and Lochlan for their help and to the players who kept turning up.
What does this mean for the club?
The honest answer is I don’t know. The limited company behind the team, Bramley Rugby League Community Club, has not ceased trading and cannot be wound up without the permission of the members.
I would hope that the club continues and we will work in the background on community projects and our heritage project. All the things that I talked about in my post of Wednesday still stand.
We will arrange a public meeting shortly, and we can have a full and frank discussion about the future then.
Please keep your eyes on social media, your email and your letterboxes for details.
Thank you
The Committee
