Bramley RLCC are holding their Annual General Meeting, which will be held at The Bramley Villager Social Club, on Thursday 8th August 2013. The meeting will start at 8pm.
The meeting will be in two parts, an open discussion with regards to the proposed merger and the formal AGM, where the voting on the two motions below will take place.
Voting is restricted to members only and on arrival members will be issued with a voting card, which should be used to vote on the motions put before the meeting.
There will be two motions discussed at the meeting,
Motion 1 – Proposed Merger with Rodley Rockets ARLFC.
West Leeds-based rugby league clubs Bramley Buffaloes and Rodley Rockets are currently exploring the possibility of merging to form one club.
Bramley, who currently field an open age mens’ team in the summer competition, Rodley Rockets, currently runs six junior teams and an open age side in the Pennine Winter League.
The proposed new club will continue with these playing arrangement.
Motion 2 – Update of the society rules to fall in line with the model rules for a Sports Club Community Mutual Rules.
The rules of the society were written when the organisation was formed back in 2000, the industrial provident society legislation has being updated since then. These new rules will bring the society in line with the latest legislation and allow us to run more effectively.
