Bramley Buffaloes having not been allocated a match in the Yorkshire Men’s League calendar are eagerly anticipating their second match of the season in this exciting and unpredictable competition, against Kippax on Friday evening, 17th April, kick off 8.00pm at the well appointed Arthur Miller Stadium.
“With the weather finally having turned warmer we are looking forward to a repeat of another large and enthusiastic crowd, that we had for the first game against Stanningley a fortnight ago” enthused Bramley Chair Martyn Cheney.
“A warm Spring evening under the floodlights at the Arthur Miller with another derby against local rivals and old sparring partners from the Rugby League Conference National days will make for a great Friday night out!” added Cheney.
The Buffaloes remind fans that admission has been reduced this season to just £3 (£1.50 concessions and under 16’s free). The excellent glossy Buffaloes match-day programme is also available thanks to support from local print and media firm Resource Print Solutions.
After a pulsating first game, which saw a 22-22 draw with Stanningley, Bramley coach Steve Gill can’t wait for Friday night, saying “After a weekend without a match the lads are champing at the bit to get back on the field to show the loyal fans just what they are capable of. There is a buzz and a real spring in the step about the squad. Roll on Friday night lights and another cracking derby!”
