Knights responded well to last week’s heavy defeat as they shut out the Buffaloes in the Yorkshire derby.
Both teams deserve credit for putting on a good show that was, at times, played in driving rain and a blustery wind.
Kippax were disciplined and in control but Bramley, to their credit, never gave in and their efforts probably did not deserve the final margin.
The game started with both defences on top and the only chance fell to Kippax as Nathan Waters went in at the corner only to be pulled back as the final pass was adjudged to have gone forward.
The deadlock was finally broken on 23 minutes when Chris Williams went in from close range and Gavin Adkin kicked the first of his five conversions.
The lead was doubled on the stroke of halftime as Waters went over in the corner after good work from Warren Leafe and Danny Gill.
The second half started like the first with defences on top but with man of the match Paul Brown becoming more influential, Kippax began to get on top and it was no surprise when they extended their lead when Chris Redfearn strolled between the posts on 51 minutes.
Soon after, Richard Stone raced in from halfway after being put clear by Adam Fewster.
The only sour note for the Knights was the dismissal of Jamie Oliver for an alleged high tackle but they had the last word when Jamie Dixon scored at the side of the posts with four minutes left.
