2020/21 season outlook and plans - Bramley Buffaloes

Bramley Buffaloes history

On March 23rd, the PM Boris Johnson instructed that the UK must go into lockdown in a bid to prevent further spread of the COVIS-19 virus. As a result, the RFL has announced important changes to their predictions for the return of the season, https://www.rugby-league.com/article/56591/covid-statement–super-league, which leaves us in a position where we don’t know when we will be able to return to physical training and playing.

There’s no denying that it’s difficult to be away from both playing rugby and socialising with fellow members, but until the pandemic ends, we must do our bit (as we always do) to protect those around us.

However, it’s not all over! Over the course of the isolation period, we’ll be bringing you lots of exciting virtual content through our social media platforms.

Whilst the list is not exhaustive, the below are things we aim to do:

  • Tips and advice for getting the best out of home training
  • Virtual rugby challenges
  • Virtual quizzes
  • Home fitness sessions

We’d love to see as many of our members get involved with this as possible, so if you have an idea, or would like to record a video, please text 07583094867.

We will bounce back from this and when we do, we will be ready and waiting to get back in the game.

Keep well and don’t forget to check out our social media platforms!
