The Forty-20 Yorkshire Men’s League held their 2013 launch night with the Snozone in Castleford providing the venue.
Representatives from teams competing in the 2013 season arrived for an evening event which featured a Q&A with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats duo Richard Mathers and Richard Agar, a presentation from Leeds Rhinos head physio Andy Barker on injury prevention and rehab, plus presentations from RFL officials on the media and administrative procedures for the coming campaign.
“The evening has been a great way to formally launch our 2013 season,” said Stuart Sheard, Forty-20 Yorkshire Men’s League chairman.
“This will be our second season and we are all looking forward to building on the progress of the inaugural season.
“Nine new teams have joined us and I would like to officially welcome them into our league. I am sure they will play their part in helping us develop further.”
The Forty-20 Cup is already underway whilst the league season will kick-off on Saturday April 6.
