BIG DAY FOR SKY HIGH LOU ! - Bramley Buffaloes

Action girl Louise Evans has her head in the clouds after putting the finishing touches to a fundraising event in aid of Leeds Rugby Foundation’s activities in the community.

Louise, who hails from Leeds and is a keen supporter of the Rhinos, will be doing a charity parachute jump in July but as well as seeking sponsorship she’s laying on an action-packed day and evening of activities at the White Swan in Yeadon on Saturday 13th June from 2pm.

“We’ve got Leeds Rhinos stars showing up with the Super League trophy, Ronnie the Rhino and a Police v Fire service tug of war,” enthused Louise who works as account manager with Bramley-based print firm Resource and looks after their link with Bramley Buffaloes.

“All are welcome to join in the fun with face painters, a barbecue and live music from one of Leeds’ top bands, Kinch, on the night,” added the 28-year-old who also hit the heights earlier this year when she zip lined off the roof of Headingley Stadium for charity!

“I’m immensely grateful to everyone who has helped me with this,” said Louise “Especially the staff and management at the White Swan who have really gone out of their way!” Louise, who will be doing her parachute jump from 10,000ft in Humberside, has also organised a raffle with White Swan chef Vince as first prize!

“Vince will be a personal chef for the night for the winner with many other prizes from rugby shirts to weekend breaks.

“I’m hoping to raise around £1,500 to support LRF’s activities on what promises to be a fantastic day of fun!” concluded Louise.

Leeds Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield has wished Louise all the best for high sky dive, he commented, “This is a great effort by Louise, playing in Super League is pretty tough but I can’t imagine many players would swap it for throwing themselves out of a plane!

“The Leeds Rugby Foundation does a fantastic job with children throughout Leeds and the region allowing many of them to gain access to sport and exercise that may not otherwise be able to do so. On behalf of everyone at the Foundation and connected with the Rhinos I would like to wish Louise all the best and hope everyone else can get along to the White Swan and give her their backing,” added Kevin
