Hello everyone.
The season has been an up and down on so far, with teams cancelling on us and then dropping out, which meant that we didn’t have a game in the first 4 weeks of the season. subsequently outlon dropped down to division four and the fixtures were rejigged to accommodate that change.
Last week we learnt that both Hunslet Club Parkside and Wet Hull Academy were dropping down to the merit league, leaving our competition with only six teams in the division. The Hunslet Parkside game will be awarded to us 24-0, which is why it is still in the fixture lists below.
We are awaiting to hear what the remaining clubs want to do with regards to make the season longer, with additional fixtures added, so there could be an odd number of fixtures and lopsided home and away split.
but we will see.
we are trying to rearrange a date for the Almondbury game and we will keep you informed.
Only the second team are in action this weekend, away at Birkenshaw Blue Dogs. come along and cheer the team on.
Next week both teams are in action, with the first team at home to Lindley St Josephs, at West Leeds Rugby League, while the second team are away at Wyke.
